Responsibilities

What you will do:

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Re-assess treatment effectiveness, attend meetings, and collaborate with families.
• Conduct discharge evaluations, make safety recommendations, and provide referrals and education.
• Communicate patient progress to the team, physicians, patients, and families.

Qualifications

What you will need:

• Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid SLP license in practice state(s).
• Current CPR Certification.
• At least one year's work experience as an SLP.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for neurological injuries is preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with safety procedures for up to 100 pounds.
• Fine motor skills, visual acuity, and ability to stand/walk for extended periods.
• Additional physical requirements include pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, kneeling, and positioning.
• Health screening may be required prior to and periodically during employment.
