Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• CRT-Speech Language Pathologist certification from ASHA is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC within 90 days is required.

Scope of Work

Provides therapy to patients based on their needs and medical direction. Educates patients and caregivers, and arranges adaptive equipment as needed. Performs evaluations to assess disability levels, develops treatment plans, and makes recommendations. Implements treatment programs to restore maximal function, and adjusts goals and methods based on effectiveness and changing needs.

Qualifications

• Required Bachelor's Degree from an accredited speech therapy program.
• Preferred Master's or Doctorate Degree from an accredited speech therapy program.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• CRT-Speech Language Pathologist certification from ASHA, 1 year required.
• Driver's License for Michigan, required upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC, 90 days required.
