Job summary

Northshore Rehabilitation Hospital in Lacombe, LA is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a per diem position in our inpatient rehabilitation program. You will evaluate and treat patients with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, and orthopedic issues under physician direction.

Responsibilities include developing and adjusting treatment plans, coordinating therapy with other services, and educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as Speech Language Pathologist.
• CCC preferred; CLS certification or completion within 90 days of employment may be considered.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current state licensure as Speech Language Pathologist required.
• Certified CLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required

Preferred Qualifications

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association preferred
