Job summary

AdvisaCare is seeking a Home Health Speech Therapist (SLP) in Cadillac, MI. This role will involve conducting comprehensive evaluations, developing personalized treatment plans, and providing one-on-one therapeutic interventions to help clients improve their speech, language, and cognitive-communication skills. Ideal candidates will hold a degree from an accredited SLP program and be licensed in Michigan. Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited SLP program.
• Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Michigan.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to determine patient needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with physician orders and agency standards.
• Provide therapeutic interventions targeting speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies, compensatory techniques, and safe swallowing practices.
• Assess and document patient progress, modifying treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care and optimal outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, caregivers, and physicians.
• Maintain compliance with all legal, ethical, and professional standards

Requirements

• Degree from an accredited SLP program
• Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Michigan
