Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital in Beachwood, OH is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a per diem (PRN) role. The position includes a $2,500 sign-on bonus and an orientation program to facilitate a smooth transition into our setting.

You will evaluate patients with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, and other conditions, developing and modifying treatment plans under physician direction.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as Speech Language Pathologist is required.
• Certified CLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required

Responsibilities

• Evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with patient needs and physician direction.
• Responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for those assigned patients.
• Ensure the design of functional treatment programs allowing for an effective return to community activities.
• Serve as an educator of patients, families, students, co-workers and self.
• Coordinate treatment program in conjunction with other clinical/therapeutic services as available community resources.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current state licensure as Speech Language Pathologist required.
• Certified CLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required

Preferred Qualifications

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association preferred
