Job summary

Karcher Post Acute is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and educate families while documenting progress in a supportive setting.

Current Idaho licensure is required, CCC-SLP preferred. New graduates and CFY candidates are encouraged to apply for growth and mentorship within a dedicated therapy team.

Qualifications

• Current Speech-Language Pathologist license in Idaho.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that support recovery and quality of life.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of therapists, nurses, physicians, and caregivers.
• Educate patients and families on treatment strategies and progress.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Create a positive, engaging therapy experience that motivates patients during recovery.
