Qualifications
- Bachelors/Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current licensure from the Arizona Department of Health Services (A.D.H.S.)
- Must possess a valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Must be able to pass a background check upon employment
Duties and Responsibilities
- Screen and evaluate appropriately referred students within the State and Federal requirements.
- Attend and actively participate in all appropriate Child Study Team (C.S.T.), Multidisciplinary Evaluation Team (M.E.T.), and Individualized Education Program (I.E.P.) team meetings.
- Develop speech-language related IEP goals, objectives, and/or benchmarks, including any appropriate accommodations for qualified district students as assigned.
- Complete all State and Federally required paperwork within required timelines.
- Provide individual and group speech-language services to students as described in the IEP.
- Prepare quarterly, or more frequent if needed, progress reports on each assigned student to include in the quarterly grade reporting process.
- Complete all MEDICAID reports and requirements in a timely manner.
- Participate in District training as appropriate.
- Perform other related duties as may be assigned by the Director of Special Services.
Reports to: Director of Exceptional Student Services
Terms of Employment: Ten Months; Exempt
