Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a skilled nursing facility in Pittsfield, MA. This full-time, permanent role offers a stable 40-hour work week in a supportive environment focused on improving residents communication and swallowing outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing function
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapy to enhance communication abilities and manage dysphagia
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress notes
• Educate residents and families on therapy goals and communication/swallowing strategies
