Job summary

MedCare Pediatric is seeking a Home Health Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide one-on-one evaluations and therapy in patients' homes across Texas. You’ll assess speech, language, feeding, and swallowing needs, develop individualized plans, and collaborate with families and a clinical team to ensure compassionate, high-quality care.

Flexibility with full-time, part-time, or PRN schedules; sign-on bonus for full-time caseloads.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Current Texas SLP license or eligibility by the anticipated start date.
• One year of experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
• Experience supervising assistants is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on each child's unique needs
• Provide speech therapy services addressing communication, articulation, language development, feeding, and swallowing skills
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to support continued growth
• Educate families and caregivers on strategies to promote carryover at home
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide coordinated, high-quality care
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
