Job summary

MedCare Pediatric is seeking a Home Health Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide one-on-one therapy in children’s homes, evaluating and treating speech, language, feeding, and swallowing needs. The role emphasizes flexible scheduling and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications include an accredited SLP program graduate, Texas license or eligibility, pediatric experience preferred, and bilingual Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Current Texas SLP license or eligible to obtain licensure by start date.
• One year of experience preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
• Experience supervising assistants is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on each child’s needs.
• Provide speech therapy services addressing communication, articulation, language development, feeding, and swallowing skills.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans.
• Educate families and caregivers on strategies to promote carryover at home.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide coordinated, high-quality care.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
