Job summary

Conway Medical Center seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality patient care, perform evaluations, and plan treatments. You will educate patients, families, and professionals on communication and swallowing disorders, and complete required documentation in a timely manner.

You will participate in performance improvement initiatives, stay current in clinical practice, and organize daily schedules to prioritize responsibilities without impacting patient care.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university program required.
  • Licensed by the South Carolina Board of Examiners in Speech Pathology and Audiology required.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide evaluations and plan treatments for patients.
  • Educate patients, families, and professionals on communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Complete required documentation accurately and within designated time frames.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives and stay current in clinical practice.
  • Organize daily schedule to prioritize responsibilities without impacting patient care.
