Job summary

AdvisaCare in Michigan is seeking a compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team part-time. You will provide one-on-one in-home therapy, assessing disorders and creating personalized treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Speech-Language Pathology, current Michigan license, and at least one year of home health care experience. You will collaborate with nurses and occupational therapists to deliver holistic care.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current Michigan license as SLP.
• Minimum 1 year home health care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of speech and language disorders and their treatment methods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficient in conducting assessments and developing customized treatment plans.
• Knowledge of applicable regulations related to speech therapy.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech and language disorders in clients
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to address speech and language needs
• Provide individualized therapy sessions to improve communication skills and swallowing abilities
