Providence Medford Medical Center in Medford, OR is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for 32 hours per week to support patients in Jackson and Josephine counties. The role requires a Mastercder PhD in Speech-Language Pathology, Oregon SLP licensure, and BLS certification.

Job description

This position will be working 32 hours/week and supporting patients in Jackson and Josephine counties.

The Speech Therapist manages and provides skilled speech/language pathology to patients/clients with a wide variety of diagnoses and disabilities, taking into account individual patient special physical or age-related needs. Requires skills in patient/client evaluation and treatment, as well as professional consultations to achieve maximum patient/client independence in accordance with individual's functional level and potential.

Required Qualifications:

• Master's Degree from an accredited Speech/Language Pathology Program or
• Ph.D. from an accredited Speech/Language Pathology Program or equivalent education/experience
• Coursework/Training: Specialized speech/language pathology training to meet a particular department need
• Upon hire: Oregon Speech Language Pathologist License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Occasionally a position will require specialized speech/language pathology experience to meet a particular departmental need
