Job summary

Providence is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide skilled speech therapy to patients across Jackson and Josephine counties. The role involves evaluation, treatment, and professional consultations to maximize client independence while considering individual needs.

Applicants must hold a Master’s or PhD in Speech-Language Pathology and an Oregon license, with BLS certification upon hire. Part-time schedule with a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

  • Coursework/Training in Speech-Language Pathology to meet a departmental need
  • Oregon Speech Language Pathologist License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • Occasionally a position will require specialized speech/language pathology experience to meet a departmental need

Description

This position will be working 32 hours/week and supporting patients in Jackson and Josephine counties.

The Speech Therapist manages and provides skilled speech/language pathology to patients/clients with a wide variety of diagnoses and disabilities, taking into account individual patient special physical or age-related needs. Requires skills in patient/client evaluation and treatment, as well as professional consultations to achieve maximum patient/client independence in accordance with individual's functional level and potential.

Required Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree from an accredited Speech/Language Pathology Program or
  • Ph.D. from an accredited Speech/Language Pathology Program or equivalent education/experience
  • Coursework/Training: Specialized speech/language pathology training to meet a particular department need
  • Upon hire: Oregon Speech Language Pathologist License
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • Occasionally a position will require specialized speech/language pathology experience to meet a particular departmental need

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
