Job summary

AnthroMed Education in Melvindale, MI is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year to support Early Childhood and Elementary students on-site three days per week.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Michigan is required.
• CCC-SLP certification or eligibility to obtain CCC-SLP is required.

Speech-Language Pathologist (Part-Time)

Location: Melvindale, MI

Start/End Date: 2026-2027 School Year (three days a week)

Pay/Benefits

• Hourly Range: $50-$65/hour (paid weekly), based on experience and qualifications.
• Employees who work fewer than 30 hours per week are considered part-time and are eligible for AnthroMed’s 401(k) retirement plan. This comes with a 100% employer match up to first 3% employee contribution.

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to provide onsite support three days per week to Early Childhood or Elementary students in Melvindale, Michigan. There are currently two opportunities available for part-time employees, however full-time employees are also encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide part-time speech and language services three days per week to either early childhood or elementary aged students.
• Conduct evaluations, develop individualized educational plans (IEPs), and implement evidence-based interventions to address speech and language developmental needs.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and other related service providers to support students’ communication skills across both classroom and individual settings.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and communication with stakeholders.
• Utilize IEP system for IEP management and compliance.
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or in the process of completing).
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Michigan.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA, or eligibility to obtain CCC-SLP.
