Job summary

Westside Children's Therapy seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support pediatric clients from birth to 18, focusing on communication development and family guidance.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and have opportunities to specialize in Feeding Therapy and AAC evaluations, while receiving mentorship and structured training.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Must pass the Praxis Examination in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year.
• SLP licensure or license eligible in the state of Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement treatment plans for pediatric clients, from birth to age 18.
• Create client-specific goals focused on effective communication, utilizing verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
• Provide support and guidance to the clients’ family enabling them to foster the behaviors and practices implemented in treatment.

Education

Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology

Praxis Examination in Speech-Language Pathology

Clinical Fellowship Year

SLP licensure or lic. eligible in Illinois
