Job summary

HSHS St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to join the Rehab team. You will evaluate patients, develop and implement treatment plans, and ensure plan-of-care execution in a full-time daytime schedule.

Responsibilities include directing therapy services, educating patients and families, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. The role requires licensure in Illinois or eligibility and a current BLS certification within 90 days.

Qualifications

  • Master’s or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program meeting licensure requirements in the state of practice.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Certified BLS or completion within the first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and execute treatment plans as outlined by the plan of care.
  • Delegate and direct therapy services across the discipline.
  • Educate patients, families, students, co-workers and foster self-professional advancement.
  • Engage and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and perform other professional duties related to patient care.

Pay Range:$34.21 - $51.31A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.HSHS St. John's Hospital is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join their Rehab team. Ideal candidates will be prepared to evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and execute on treatment plan as outlined by plan of care.
