Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose: The Speech Pathologist provides skilled speech and swallow therapy services, including evaluation and treatment.

Responsibilities:

1. Develops and implements treatment plans, considering discharge needs and functional status.
2. Educates and collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers; makes referrals as needed.
3. Delegates to assistants, techs, and students, determining skill levels and competencies.
4. Completes documentation per departmental policies.
5. Provides assessments, reassessments, and consultations for Speech Services.

Minimum Requirements

Education: Master's Degree in Speech Pathology

Experience: No experience required

Licenses & Certifications: Speech-Language Pathologist license
