Job summary

MHMR of Tarrant County seeks a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to provide speech, language, communication, feeding and swallowing services to infants and toddlers with developmental delays under the IFSP framework.

The role emphasizes timely, appropriate service delivery for 0-3 children, adherence to procedural safeguards, and alignment with MHMR's mission to support families in a community-centered system of care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Licensed Speech Language Pathologist in Texas (CCC or CFY).
• Valid Texas Driver's License.
• Must provide license and official transcripts.
• Experience in early childhood or pediatrics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech, language, communication, feeding and swallowing disorder services to infants and toddlers with developmental delays and their families as identified in the IFSP.
• Ensure that 0-3 children are served timely and appropriately.
• Follow procedural safeguards, rights and needs of children and families.
• Align with MHMR's mission and the seven principles of early intervention in the natural environment.

Speech Language Pathologist

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide speech, language, communication, feeding and swallowing disorder service to infants and toddlers with developmental delays and their families as identified in the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP). You will ensure that all (0-3) children are served timely and appropriately and in keeping with their procedural safeguards, rights and needs. This position fully embraces the mission and 7 key principles for providing early intervention services in the natural environment.

Minimum Requirements: Master's Degree

Defined Education: Speech and Language Pathology

Preferences: Experience in early childhood or pediatrics

Required License(s)

Licensed Speech Language Pathologist in Texas - CCC or CFY (MHMR can supervise CFY)

Valid Texas Driver's License with an acceptable driving record

Must provide license and official documentation of all educational attainment i.e. Transcript/Degree/Certificate.
