Job summary

MHMR of Tarrant County is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide speech, language, feeding and swallowing services for infants and toddlers under the IFSP, in natural environments.

The role supports 0-3 children and their families, focusing on early intervention principles and family-centered care within our mission-driven organization.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Licensed Speech Language Pathologist in Texas (CCC or CFY with supervision) preferred.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License and ability to provide official transcripts/certificates.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech, language, feeding and swallowing services to infants and toddlers under the IFSP.
• Deliver services in natural environment and adhere to procedural safeguards and family-centered practices.
• Collaborate with families and other professionals to support early intervention.

Speech Language Pathologist

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide speech, language, communication, feeding and swallowing disorder service to infants and toddlers with developmental delays and their families as identified in the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP). You will ensure that all (0-3) children are served timely and appropriately and in keeping with their procedural safeguards, rights and needs. This position fully embraces the mission and 7 key principles for providing early intervention services in the natural environment.

Preferences:

Experience in early childhood or pediatrics

Required License(s)

• Licensed Speech Language Pathologist in Texas - CCC or CFY (MHMR can supervise CFY)
• Valid Texas Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
• Must provide license and official documentation of all educational attainment i.e. Transcript/Degree/Certificate.
