Job summary

Scoot Education is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in California classrooms. You will conduct screenings and therapy, participate in IEPs, and collaborate with teachers and staff in both general and special education settings.

Qualifications

• Active California license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screening, evaluation and speech therapy for qualifying students.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collect documentation of student needs and progress.
• Work closely with Teachers and support staff across both general education and special education settings.
• Where applicable, supervise SLPAs
• Build rapport and trust with the children in your care
• Foster a safe and nurturing learning environment
• Support Special Education Teachers in delivering IEP and BIP services
• Follow direction from, and assist lead educators
