Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for inpatient rehabilitation. You will evaluate and treat patients with communication, cognition, and swallowing needs, develop individualized plans, and educate families and staff.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, documenting progress, and coordinating with the multidisciplinary team. This role may involve mentoring new staff and affiliating students.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech Pathology is required.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification is required.
• Certification in Speech-Language Pathology per ASHA guidelines is required.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care in inpatient rehabilitation (90-100%).
• Evaluate and treat patients; develop and implement plan of care.
• Document evaluation, plan of care, progress, and discharge planning.
• Coordinate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and the multidisciplinary team.
• Mentor and orient new staff and students.
