Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat individuals with communication and swallowing disorders, in inpatient or outpatient settings within New Jersey. The role requires coordination, documentation, and patient-centered care across ages, with potential rotation to other services.

Responsibilities include diagnostic testing, treatment planning, and ongoing reassessment to meet goals.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited institution.
• Licensed or eligible for New Jersey license as Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for the evaluation of the patient/client in accordance with departmental policies and standards of practice.
• Establish a plan of care with the client/patient/family based on functional, measurable goals.
• Perform therapeutic treatment for all age groups within the department's responsibility.
• Document data in accordance with policies and procedures.
