Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to provide patient assessment, treatment planning, and collaborative care across disciplines. The role emphasizes effective documentation, mentoring, and participation in quality improvement initiatives.

The position requires a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, state licensure (WI/IL), and ASHA CCC. Travel to other locations for cross-coverage is expected.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Licensed as a speech-language pathologist in WI and/or IL.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
  • CPR/BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate/assess using evidence-based standards to plan care.
  • Communicate with disciplines and referring providers to improve outcomes.
  • Maintain electronic documentation with proper coding and billing.
  • Mentor new partners and participate in Performance Improvement.
  • Plan lectures and training for staff, students, and community.
