Job summary

Soliant is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract role near Tacoma, WA. You will assess and treat students, develop IEP goals, and collaborate with teachers and families to support communication outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in SLP and WA state licensure, with CFY or CCC preferred. CFY candidates considered, and school experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current WA state SLP license or eligibility to obtain prior to start.
  • ASHA CCC preferred; CFY candidates considered.
  • Previous experience working in school settings strongly desired.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to develop individualized plans and effectively manage a caseload of students with diverse needs.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
  • Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans tailored to each student.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
  • Document ongoing progress and maintain records in compliance with district/state guidelines.
  • Offer support and resources for families and staff to maximize communication outcomes.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, staff discussions, and ongoing professional development.
