Job summary

Soliant is seeking a School-based Speech-Language Pathologist in the Lakewood/Tacoma area for a full-time contract through June 2027. Immediate start with 37.5 hours per week in a supportive educational setting.

You will deliver therapy, develop IEPs, and collaborate with teachers and families to support student progress. Washington licensure and CCC-SLP are preferred, with remote opportunities not indicated.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
  • Current SLP licensure in Washington State or ability to obtain it.
  • CCC-SLP certification preferred.
  • Experience with school-aged children in a school setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver speech, language, and communication therapy to a diverse school caseload.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams to maximize student support.
  • Conduct comprehensive student assessments and progress monitoring.
  • Provide consultation and resources for staff to facilitate inclusion strategies.
  • Maintain compliant documentation and participate in student meetings and interventions.

Position Details
  • Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Qualifications & Preferred Experience
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current SLP licensure in Washington State (or ability to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a school setting
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to evaluate, develop, and implement effective intervention plans tailored to student needs
