Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing in Naperville, IL, seeks a contract Speech-Language Pathologist to support students’ communication needs in a school setting. You will collaborate with teachers, families, and related service professionals to design and implement IEP-driven plans and provide direct and consultative therapy.

The role requires a Master’s in SLP, IL state licensure, and CCC-SLP eligibility, with prior school experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current Illinois state licensure and ASHA CCC-SLP or eligibility.
• Previous experience in a school environment strongly preferred.
• Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills.
• Ability to adapt therapy methods for diverse learning needs and age groups.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders for students.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and IEP goals.
• Provide both direct and consultative therapy services in individual and group settings.
• Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to monitor student growth.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to planning sessions.
