Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in a dynamic school setting in Goessel, Kansas. This contract role offers collaboration with educators, support staff, and families to enhance communication and academic development.

The SLP will evaluate speech and language needs, develop individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals, provide services in various settings, and participate in IEP meetings to help students succeed.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP.
  • ASHA CCC preferred; CFY candidates will be considered.
  • Experience in a school or pediatric setting is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of IEP, goal writing, and progress monitoring.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to organize caseload, meet deadlines, and maintain thorough documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate students' speech, language, and communication abilities using standardized assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on students' IEP goals.
  • Provide direct speech-language services in individual, small group, or classroom settings.
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to maximize student success.
  • Track progress and maintain accurate case notes and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights for educational planning.
  • Promote positive attitudes toward speech therapy and communicate progress to all stakeholders.
