Job summary

Siliant Health is seeking a contracted Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in a school-based setting near Independence, Missouri. You will provide direct therapy, conduct assessments, and collaborate with teachers and families to meet IEP goals.

In this contract role, you will develop and monitor individualized treatment plans, participate in IEP meetings, and maintain accurate records while staying current with best practices in school-based SLP services.

Qualifications

  • K-12 school-based therapy interest required.
  • Strong communication and collaboration with teachers, families, and staff.
  • Ability to conduct speech/language assessments and support IEP goals.
  • Accurate documentation and adherence to school/district policies.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students according to IEP goals.
  • Assess students to determine nature and extent of impairments.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
  • Partner with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support progress.
  • Participate in IEP meetings with expertise and recommendations.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, progress, and communications.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development in school-based SLP services.

Job description

Key Skills and Desired Experience:

  • Possess a degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with students, families, and staff

  • Ability to maintain accurate documentation and comply with school/district policies
