Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a contract SLP to support elementary and PreK students with a focus on continuity during a medical leave. This one-site role carries a caseload of about 40 learners with mild to moderate needs and collaborates with educators and families.

You will deliver assessments, therapy, and progress monitoring, help develop and update IEPs, and coordinate with returning SLP for follow-up. In-person, dedicated team environment.

Qualifications

  • CCC-SLP certificate required.
  • Minimum of one year of school-based SLP experience.
  • Experience managing elementary and PreK caseloads.
  • Strong foundation in direct and indirect speech and language interventions.
  • Ability to independently handle a caseload and maintain thorough documentation.
  • Clear communicator with staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Commitment to in-person learning environments.
  • Cannot accept SLPAs, Clinical Fellows, virtual (Voco) providers, or 1099 contractors.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive assessments, therapy, and progress monitoring for elementary and PreK students.
  • Develop, implement, and update IEPs in collaboration with other educators and specialists.
  • Track compensatory service needs and work closely with returning SLP on follow-up.
  • Serve as the primary speech resource for your site, coordinating schedules and consultation.
  • Participate in school-based meetings and contribute to the overall student support framework.

Job description

Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students through essential speech and language services. This position covers a medical leave throughout the fall and early winter, providing continuity and quality care to elementary and some PreK students. Serving a single site, you'll manage a caseload of approximately 40 learners primarily with mild to moderate needs. Once the incumbent SLP returns post-surgery, your expertise will continue to be valued as you contribute to compensatory service delivery. This school-based role is rooted in collaboration and effective communication within dedicated educational teams.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
  • Hold current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Minimum of one year of recent school-based SLP experience
  • Experience managing elementary and PreK caseloads
