Strides Therapy & Educational Services is seeking a Clinical Fellow Speech-Language Pathologist to work in Colorado public schools. The role focuses on assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication disorders within a collaborative school setting.

Gain experience coordinating with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop IEPs and implement evidence-based interventions for diverse student needs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
• Valid limited CO state licensure or ability to obtain licensure in Colorado.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication skills.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language goals.
• Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs in the classroom and beyond.
• Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided and student progress.
• Participate in team meetings, professional development opportunities, and ongoing training.

Position Overview

As a Clinical Fellow Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work closely with students, educators, and families to assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders within the school setting. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide evidence-based interventions to support student success.

Requirements

• Limited SLP Licensure in the state of Colorado
• Colorado Board of Education Licensure (Teaching Licensure) or willing to obtain

Additional Details

This is an in-person role supporting students ages pre-K through High School, depending on district placement.
