Soliant is seeking a contract Speech-Language Pathologist to support local schools near Charleston, SC. This part-time role offers 6-8 hours per week, with collaboration among educators and families to assess needs and provide tailored services helping every child communicate confidently.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in SLP, SC license, and CCC from ASHA, with prior school experience and strong communication skills. Independent work in a supportive, professional environment is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid SC SLP license for South Carolina.
• CCC from ASHA required.
• Previous school-based experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a small caseload efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to determine speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students.
• Develop and carry out individualized treatment plans in collaboration with IEP teams.
• Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and progress reports.
• Communicate effectively with students, families, educators, and administration regarding student progress.
• Participate in team meetings as needed and support the overall special education process.
