Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in a dynamic educational setting.

Contract role approx. 20 hours per week across four days, with flexibility and opportunities for professional development. You will collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers, providing IEP-driven therapy across multiple school sites as needed.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
  • Valid state licensure and ASHA certification (or eligibility).
  • Experience in a school setting preferred.
  • Ability to develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with educational teams.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech and language therapy to students in compliance with IEPs.
  • Assess, screen, and identify communication disorders, then develop targeted treatment plans.
  • Participate in team meetings, collaborating with educators, families, and related service providers.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and required reports.
  • May work across multiple school sites as needed, with paid travel time if required.
  • Participate in virtual or in-person meetings using the district's preferred platforms.
  • Adapt to district-specific systems, with training provided as needed.

Job description

This contract opportunity is ideal for a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist seeking to work approximately 20 hours per week; your schedule will cover four days, giving you flexibility while engaging with a vibrant learning community.
