Job summary

CONSUMER DIRECTED SERVICES INC. seeks a Speech Language Therapist to evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, hearing, and dysphagia disorders. You will work across inpatient, outpatient, long-term care, community, and home health settings.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, state licensure, CCC-SLP, and 1–3 years of experience or CF eligibility, with knowledge of diverse care settings.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology.
• State licensure as SLP required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
• 1–3 years of experience or Clinical Fellowship eligibility.
• Knowledge of growth, development and regulations relevant to diverse care settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and therapeutic interventions for speech, language, cognition, and dysphagia rehabilitation.
• Develop and oversee rehabilitation programs addressing physical, psychosocial, cognitive, and environmental needs.
• Promote patient and caregiver self-determination by utilizing external resources to enhance independence.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams and communicate with involved services.
• Manage discharge planning and advocate for patients.
• Work across inpatient, outpatient, long-term care, community, and home health settings.

Education

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
