Memorial Health in Illinois seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide examinations, diagnoses, and therapy along with program development support. The role emphasizes leadership in service improvement and cross-covering multiple areas.

Requirements include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, IL licensure or eligibility, CCC-SLP, and BLS within 30 days. Preference for 2+ years of experience in speech therapy.

Formación

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Illinois Licensure as SLP or eligible required.
• CCC-SLP certification required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Provide examinations, evaluations, therapy diagnosis, interventions and prognosis.
• Lead program development and act as department resource for diagnostic groups.
• Cross-cover multiple service areas and support education opportunities.
• Perform Modified Barium Swallow studies with Radiology when required.
• Educate patients about disease processes, equipment use and rehabilitation techniques.
• Participate in QA, research and department projects and training.
• Represent the hospital service line in education programs and community outreach.
