Job summary

Powerback is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to help patients regain communication and swallowing abilities across diverse care settings. You will design and implement individualized rehab plans and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.

The role emphasizes teaching patients and caregivers, providing mentorship, and delivering high-quality care in a dynamic environment with opportunities for CEUs and visa/relocation support.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA or be eligible to participate as ASHA Clinical Fellow.
• Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• As a Speech Language Pathologist, design and deliver rehab plans to help patients communicate, swallow, and address disorders.
• Collaborate with patients to execute plans and monitor progress.
• Address the whole patient and tailor programs to restore and enhance speech and communication abilities.
• Adapt to various care settings and coordinate with the team for patient care.
• Train patients and caregivers to promote independence and productive communication.

Education

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area
