Children's National Hospital seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist III to evaluate and provide remediation for children with communication disorders. This role requires a Master's degree, considerable experience, and proficiency in counseling. The candidate should demonstrate empathy, flexibility, and cultural awareness while fulfilling critical responsibilities at the Scottish Rite Center.
Work Hours - 830am-5pm
Work Location - Scottish Rite Center
Under the direction of the Speech Director/Division Chair, the Speech-Language Pathologist III will be responsible to evaluate speech/language of children and provide remediation for children with communication disorders.
Minimum Education
Master's Degree Speech-Language Pathology (Required)

Required Skills/Knowledge
Demonstrated flexibility in the evaluation process. Shows knowledge of counseling techniques. Shows empathy and caring. Demonstrates knowledge of theoretical application. Demonstrates knowledge of cultural and linguistic diversity. Must be available for student/trainee to shadow daily responsibilities. Triages questions from staff, outside hospitals and physicians. Involved in extra division project that promotes the enhancement and dissemination of speech knowledge (i.e., IRB committee member, organizer of specialty event, etc.)
