Job summary

Endeavor Health in Skokie, IL seeks a Speech Language Pathologist II for outpatient pediatric services on days. Provide evaluations, treatment, and follow-up for children with complex or developmental conditions.

Qualifications

• IL license as a Speech Language Pathologist required.
• Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program.
• BLS/CPR certification from American Heart Association.
• CCC-SLP certification held or in progress.
• Minimum 2 years independent pediatric experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation, treatment and follow-up for pediatric patients with complex or developmental conditions.
• Evaluates patients using advanced articulation, language, cognition, memory, voice and literacy techniques.
• Develop and adjust sophisticated treatment plans based on evaluations and outcomes.
• Complete all patient records, billing and documentation per guidelines.
• Participate in the clinical supervision of students.

Hourly Pay Range

$39.44 - $61.13 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position

Speech Language Pathologist II – Outpatient – Days

Location

9977 Woods Drive, Skokie, IL

Contract Type

Full-Time – 40 hours (hours may vary between 34-40hrs)

Hours

M-Th approx. 9am-6:00pm, Fri. 8am-12pm

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation, treatment and follow-up services to the pediatric patient population with complex or developmental atypical conditions.
• Evaluates patients using advanced techniques for articulation, expressive/receptive language, cognition, memory, voice, and literacy.
• Establishes and administers sophisticated treatment plans based on patient evaluations to regain function, continuously assessing effectiveness and modifying as necessary.
• Completes all patient records, billing, and documentation in strict accordance with departmental guidelines and professional standards.
• Participates in the clinical supervision of students.

Qualifications

• License: Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in the State of IL required.
• Education: Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from a university program accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Certification: BLS/CPR certification from American Heart Association required. Holds or is working towards a Certificate of Clinical Competence of the American-Speech-Hearing Association.
• Experience: 2 years independent pediatric experience required.
• Skills: Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) experience preferred.
