This PRN role requires graduation from an SLP program and a state license, with CCCs mandatory. The position serves geriatric residents in assisted and independent living communities, with some home visits possible.

Scheduling is flexible, with weekday hours and optional weekends. Compensation is hourly, with strong benefits for full-time staff.

Overview:

Due to continued growth, Discovery at Home is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist in Palm Beach, FL, to serve an Independent Living campus.

Candidates must have CCCs. Unfortunately, supervision is not available for new grad SLPs who are completing their Clinical Fellowship.

Caseload / Patient Population:

The Speech Language Pathologist will primarily work within assisted and independent living communities, with some home visits possible within the community. The patient population is primarily geriatric, with most cases under Medicare Part A Home Health, along with some Part B.

Compensation and Benefits:

This position offers a competitive hourly rate in the range of $40 to $62 per hour, which increases based on experience and qualifications.

Job Requirements:

• Eligible for FL state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must have a current CPR certification.
• Candidates must have CCCs. Unfortunately, supervision is not available for new grad SLPs who are completing their Clinical Fellowship.
• Previous experience in home health is preferred, but not required.
• Open to candidates who require sponsorship to work in the United States.
• Background Screening Requirement: Employment in Florida is contingent upon completion of a Level 2 background screening in accordance with Florida AHCA requirements.
