Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathology Program.
• Certification of Clinical Competence from ASHA preferred or eligible to begin clinical fellowship year.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure in Kentucky.
• CPR & First Aid certification required.
• Pass background check and valid driver’s license.
• Strong clinical skills and a compassionate patient-centered approach.

Your Role as a Speech Language Pathologist

Perform skilled therapeutic services within the Speech Language Pathologist’s scope of practice. Including:

• Provide speech and language screenings, evaluations and treatment for pediatric clients.
• Administer and interpret standardized assessments that identify deficits related to speech, language, and feeding.
• Support children with expressive/receptive language, articulation, AAC, feeding, and social communication.
• Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary team members to create meaningful, functional outcomes.
• Celebrate patient success such that they are an inspiration for others!

WHO YOU ARE

• Graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathology Program.
• Preferred: Certification of Clinical Competence obtained from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) OR eligible to begin clinical fellowship year.
• Clinical Fellows welcome to apply! Paid CF supervision at no cost to you!
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Kentucky.
• CPR & First Aid certification.
• Pass background check.
• Valid driver's license
• Strong clinical skills, powerful presence, and the flexibility to think like a clinician and a kid.
