Job summary

Provident Behavioral Health is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders across all ages. You will develop individualized therapy plans, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and educate patients and caregivers on strategies and safe swallowing practices.

Responsibilities include assessments, progress documentation, and participation in quality assurance while maintaining compliance with safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist license (state-specific).
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Preferred: Master's or higher in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP, and relevant experience. New graduates are welcome.
• Critical thinking, excellent interpersonal, communication, and PC skills.
• Physical ability to assist with equipment and patient mobility.
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Ability to work under pressure, maintain attention to detail, and possess visual acuity.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders using standardized assessments and clinical observations.
• Create personalized therapy programs aligned with patient goals and evidence-based practices.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting plans as necessary.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers, providing support and home exercises.
• Coordinate with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive care.
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
• Participate in quality assurance and ongoing professional development.
