Job summary

Shore Gardens Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Ocean County, NJ is seeking a resourceful Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. You will assess patients, develop individualized treatment plans, administer therapy, and educate families and staff on treatment options.

Requirements include CCC-SLP from ASHA, experience with relevant disorders and ages, and strong communication and teamwork skills. Knowledge of dysphagia therapy and database management is a plus.

Qualifications

• CCC-SLP certification required.
• Experience with relevant disorders and age groups.
• Solid understanding of speech-related disorders and treatments.
• Familiarity with database management software.
• Excellent relationship-building and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides therapy to patients as prescribed by referring physician, including language stimulation, dysphagia therapy, oral motor exercises, and augmentative communication therapy.
• Performs swallowing evaluations and participates in diagnostic procedures with other disciplines.
• Maintains follow-up actions with families and multidisciplinary teams.
