You will perform evaluations, design treatment plans, and guide families through strategies for home practice. The ideal candidate holds a state license as an SLP, with CCC-SLP preferred within one year.

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech Language Pathologist in current practice state
• CCC-SLP certification preferred within one year of hire
• BLS Basic Life Support required within 30 days for RSFH or at hire for internal moves

Responsibilities

• Assess referrals, patient condition, and medical history to determine therapy needs
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop discharge plans based on assessments
• Administer SLP treatments tailored to patient needs
• Design rehabilitative programs for speech, language, cognition, and swallowing
• Educate patients and families on procedures for continued care at home
• Collaborate with healthcare team and participate in patient care conferences
