Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited college of Speech Therapy.
• Licensed in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology in GA or eligible.
• Five or more years of experience preferred.
• AHA BLS preferred; ability to interpret information per patient needs; knowledge of growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care to ensure quality speech therapy, with emphasis on geriatrics.
• Administer speech therapy according to department procedures to maximize potential.
• Document evaluation and treatment plans per policy; communicate with Therapy Supervisor.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
