Job summary

The Arc Jefferson – St. Lawrence is seeking a Licensed Speech Pathologist to provide direct speech-language services across children and adults.

The role includes developing and implementing service plans, participating in IEP/CPSE/ISP meetings, and ensuring compliant documentation and Medicaid billing. Responsibilities include evaluating communication abilities, updating progress notes, and collaborating with families, educators, and medical staff.

Qualifications

• Licensed by NYS Education Department as a Speech Pathologist.
• Provisional certification as NYS Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped (or TSSLD).
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC).
• Physical ability to lift/push/pull up to 30+ pounds.
• Authorized to work in the United States with background clearances.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language pathology services to children and adults.
• Develop, implement and monitor individualized service plans.
• Participate in IEP/CPSE/ISP meetings and collaborate with teams.
• Complete Medicaid billing documentation and required reports.
• Document sessions and progress for monthly notes and reimbursements.
• Consult with families and other agencies to coordinate care.
