Job summary

The Arc Wayne is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide clinical consultation and speech therapy services for the Article 16 Clinic in Orleans/Genesee County, NY. The role operates Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4 pm, at our Orleans County location.

The SLP will support individuals across ages and contribute to a collaborative care approach within the agency’s integrated services, emphasizing dignity, independence, and community involvement.

Qualifications

• Must hold a New York State Speech-Language Pathologist license.
• Must have a valid New York State Driver License.

Responsibilities

• Researches and recommends speech communication devices and other related technology.
• Maintains confidentiality regarding information regarding service recipients.
• Completes timely and accurate service documentation as per clinic and agency policies and procedures to include; progress notes, evaluations, treatment plans, etc...
• May provide clinical supervision and oversight to unlicensed fellowship students in the area of Speech Pathology.
• Ensures that conduct while on duty is professional and consistent with the Agency's culture, mission, values, procedures and policies.

A Day in the Life of a Speech Language Pathologist:

As a Speech Language Pathologist ( SLP ) at The Arc Wayne in Newark, NY you will be an integral part in providing Clinical Consultation and Speech Therapy Services for the Article 16 Clinic in Orleans/Genesee County.

• Researches and recommends speech communication devices and other related technology
