Job summary

Fleetwood Post Acute in Easley, SC seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. You will collaborate with physicians and families to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

The position requires a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology and an active SC SLP license. Experience in skilled nursing or rehab is preferred, with opportunities for professional growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active, unencumbered SLP license in South Carolina (required).
• Must meet all state and federal requirements for SLP practice.
• Must maintain continuing education and good standing with the State Board.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred.
• Familiarity with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy for communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, families, and care team.
• Participate in care plan meetings and discharge planning.
• Conduct staff in-service training and education.
