Job summary

Providence St Elias Specialty Hospital-Anchorage is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients, focusing on communication, cognition and swallowing disorders. You will develop and coordinate Speech Language Pathology services in collaboration with physicians and the care team, and assist in direct patient care.

This role requires Alaska licensure and BLS on hire. The schedule is full-time, 40 hours per week, with a $5,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
• Alaska Speech Language Pathologist License required at hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients; assess communication, cognition and swallowing disorders.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team to plan and provide Speech Language Pathology services.
