Job summary

Providence Seward Mountain Haven in Seward, AK is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a full-time, 1.0 FTE position on day shift, 40 hours per week, on-site in Seward, AK.

The role includes a $5,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires and relocation assistance for qualified candidates. You will develop and maintain Speech Language Pathology services with physicians and the care team, and contribute to direct patient care as needed, aligned with ASHA standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
• Alaska SLP license or temporary license required.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required.
• Driving may be necessary; provide license and auto insurance on request.
• CFY candidates will be considered with commitment to employment after licensure.

Responsibilities

• Develops, coordinates, and maintains Speech Language Pathology services in collaboration with physicians, primary partners, and patient/family. Assists in direct patient care. Collaborates with other team members to plan and provide important aspects of care, in compliance with standards and guidelines established by the ASHA.
