Job summary

Career Links is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist for a full-time, school-based assignment across multiple districts. You will evaluate, plan, and deliver therapy to students with communication disorders, supporting their academic and social success.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (or eligibility).
• State Teaching Credential (or ability to obtain).
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• CCC-SLP preferred; CF supervision available.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations in compliance with IDEA and state standards.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
• Provide direct therapy and consultative services to students with speech and language impairments.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and service logs to ensure legal and ethical compliance.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other related service providers to support student goals.
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, and professional development activities.
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic strategies and technologies, including AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication).
• Support inclusive practices and adapt interventions to support diverse student populations.
• Provide training or guidance to classroom staff, if applicable, to generalize communication strategies.

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our network of education professionals for a full-time, school-based assignment. Qualifications

Required:

Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech Language Pathologist

State Teaching Credential (or ability to obtain)

Valid Driver’s License

Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Preferred:

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA

Experience working in a public school setting or with IEPs

Familiarity with Medicaid billing practices and compliance

Cultural competency in working with diverse student populations

Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply — CF supervision available!
